He eventually worked his way up the ladder and earned a corporate position as Regional Director of Operations for the Eastern Region overseeing 35 properties.

Trovato has received numerous accolades throughout his robust career including being nationally recognized by Hotel Management Magazine as one of the “Top 25 General Managers to Watch” in 2012. Additional accolades include the General Manager’s Award for Most Positive Organizational Climate and the Special Achievement Award for House Profit and Guest Hospitality with Interstate Hotels and Resorts; and Marriott Owner’s Relation Award.
